This week at King's Domain has gone by so fast! Here are a couple highlights.
Monday/Tuesday: the leadership staff and i setup the dining hall for camp, washed all the camp automobiles and finished the book "sacrilegious" by Hugh Halter.
Wednesday- Project 1( college students serving as camp counselors for 7 weeks) came. Instead of just driving to camp, they had to go on a journey that eventually led them to camp. It took about 2hours. Us guys hungout and went to Skyline Chili.
Thursday- We had our first intro into the Kingdom ( a summer focus on the Kingdom of God), personality assessments and evangelism talk/training on how to actively listen.
Friday- we went to the University of Cincinnati and asked people about their experiences with Christians trying to start spiritual conversations and convert them. The main things people said were " to talk with an intent to gain understanding of how they feel and why they feel that way about religion. Rather than push beliefs on them. "If we try to understand them then they would be more prone to understand us.
This week was certainly wonderful!
Prayer requests- pray for next week as it's going to be challenging because we have hardcore training all week.
